The weather was fine! I found out that the key to living comfortably at any temperature is: LONG JOHNS! Long johns are the bomb. I felt great today waiting for the el, and walking to my building! Yay long johns! 
What in the name of Superfudge did I do without them before?!
Also it's supposed to snow tomorrow and that's fantastic!

Hee Heee... you have discovered the love of long johns. They are wonderful devices.
I'm surprised you didn't have them in the south though. Gar puts them on anytime the temperature drops below 70 degrees.

I personally love a good capri length long-under so that I can still wear nice thick socks and tuck my pants into my boots without too much trouble. Luckily little boy's long johns end up at the perfect length and come in much fun-er patterns than the lady long johns(janes?)! Thanks New England!
Also fold over style yoga pants work really well as long-unders cause you can pull the fold over part up to cover the crucial above-pant-below-sweater-while-waiting -for-the-bus-and-reading-a-book-region(I suppose some people call them hips), although if my life is any indication your significant other will make fun of you just a bit for doing so. Thanks Clare!
